Globalprotect source region. What/How do I stop that s.

Globalprotect source region. I know I can restrict access to source countries with GP Gateway which I'm currently doing but how can I do this with the Global Protect Portal? Is there a way to configure in Global Protect VPN Connection to allow users to only connect from a certain Region and deny if a request is made from any other region that is whitelisted . Also make sure the Client Settings for other groups have Source Address set (probably to Region = US). When users connect, GlobalProtect recognizes the device region and only allows users to connect to gateways that are configured for that region. May 16, 2024 ยท Assign users connecting from the desired region to a specific group or role that is allowed access to GlobalProtect. Regarding gateway selection, source region is considered first, then the gateway priority. I have read online a couple of ways to do this but I am wondering what is best practice. For users outside this region, assign them to a group or role that is denied access. GlobalProtect recognizes the source region and only allows uses to connect to gateways that are configured for that region. The GlobalProtect Portal is responsible for setting the client's region code based on the source IP address which reaches the Portal. When user is connected using Pre-logon, the tunnel is already established using certificate authentication before the user enters his username/password. vrhxc42 sj ag5 ty tnqf1 ctf iqj7gx rtvcypm a78 sg
